The Role
The Associate Facilitator will work closely with the Director of Education and Programming to create unique training experiences that pull from Agile and Design Thinking frameworks. Working with various industries the team will help clients and organizations craft problem statements, develop strategic plans, and develop stronger team dynamics. An ideal candidate would have excellent people skills, attention to detail, and be willing to think creatively around problems. Facilitation days are not only built within design thinking frameworks but also based around technology and hands on problem solving.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Conduct training days with Building Momentum.
Create curriculum and training event based around technology and design thinking.
Research organizations and prep for meetings, trainings, and other events.
Learn and teach technologies such as welding and laser cutting.
Create after action reports for training events.
Ability to adapt training days based on group dynamics and developments.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Experience
A successful candidate will meet and/or exceed the following competencies:
Bachelor's degree required
Successful candidates with an Bachelor's degree will possess extensive experience in the subject matter of training and/or technology
1-2 years of instructional and/or technology-related experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including reports and presentations
Valid Driver’s License
Comfort in a functional workshop and power tools
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Ability to pass base security
Advanced working proficiency in English; fluency preferred
